WHO AM I, WHY DO I HIKE

I haven't always been a hiker, I grew up in the city and had a pretty typical city life.  However, one day in 2008 my brother-in-law invited me on a hike, a fairly easy overnighter not too far from the city. 

Well I was hooked!

Since then, I have hiked extensively throughout the South Island of New Zealand, and have ticked off 8 of New Zealand's 10 Great Walks, the last being the Rakiura Track on Stewart Island.

I am now fortunate enough to have left the city in 2011, and moved the the heart of Canterbury in the South Island of New Zealand.
